A story of experiences as a schoolgirl, wife and mother, during World War I in Darwin, and in the outback of Northern Territory and North Queensland. This book has fascinating graphic details of an eventful life – including many years spent among miners, bushmen, and the aboriginal people of the Northern Territory; with interesting information about beliefs and customs of Australian aborigines.
