View in the Gold District – Bathurst. Original wood engravings of Road over the Blue Mountains to the Bathurst District.

This is an engraved page from "The Illustrated London News" published on September 13, 1851 (with later hand-colouring of the engravings). The page includes the description of the engraved images, but as the reverse of this page is not the preceding page to this one, the description of the goldfields in this instance is incomplete.

The engravings on this page have been coloured at some time, but this can only add to the appreciation of the contents.
age size is 39 x 27cm (approximately 15.25 x 10.5 inches).
