Lovely steel-engraved scene with people in the foreground overlooking the beautiful calm sea and shipping, a scene engraved by Robert Brandard from a sketch by William Henry Bartlett for "The Ports, Harbours, Watering-Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain", for William Finden (1787-1852), and Edward Finden (1791-1857). London: Published for the Proprietors by George Virtue circa 1842.

This lovely engraving is in good condition, with later fine hand-colour. Image size is 120 x 180mm (4.3/4 x 7 inches). Page size is approximately 206 x 275mm (8.1/4 x 10.7/8 inches)
