Delightful, brightly-coloured reproduction, printed from a series of four wonderful hand-painted stencils by Spanish artist Carlos Bady for La Journée de Mado (Mado’s Day) published in Paris c.1932 by Galerie Lutetia. Mado is a young lady whose day, according to the artist, is largely spent in pleasant frivolities – in the company of cherubs.
