Le Rowing & Le Tennis. Small Citroen postcards of 1920's fashions and sport (Paddling and Tennis).

Repoductions from hand-coloured French pochoir (stencils) circa 1922 for Gazette du Bon Ton these charming prints were created for a series advertising La Citroen et tous les Sports (The Citroen and all Sport). Gazette du Bon Ton (Journal of Good Style) was an exclusive periodical which introduced the latest Paris fashions for the well-to-do. In this case the fashion was shown with sport: Paddling (with a canoeist), and Tennis (viewed through a tennis net), at the same time promoting the Citroen motor car.
