Original copperplate engraving from The Voyage of Governor Phillip to Botany Bay with an account of the Establishment of the Colonies of Port Jackson and Norfolk Island published in London by John Stockdale of Piccadilly c1789 (later hand-colour).

This rare engraving has been repaired (faintly visible, diagonally into image towards top left0 and has small damage to extremities – none of which should show when framed. Page size is 225 x 300mm (9 7/8 x 11 3/4 inches). To plate impression is 7 5/8 x 10 3/8 inches.
