Rare original copperplate engraving by Edward Heath for the work  “Zoological Lectures at the Royal Institution" in London by George Shaw, published by George Kearsley.  Fine copperplate engraving by eminent natural history illustrator, Mr Griffiths and his assistants. They were published in black & white, but the later hand-colouring of this image certainly highlights the detail well.
