Antique Print of Fungi with fine details of dissections c1820. 

Original hand-coloured copperplate engraving for Flora Londinensis published in London from 1817 to 1828 by George Graves F.L.S. and eminent botanist William Jackson Hooker (1785-1865). This spectacular series of engravings was compiled mostly from enlarged engravings from those circa 1775-1779 by William Curtis (1746-1799). As usual with this work, there is very slight offsetting from the adjacent page text.

The image measures approximately 33 x 24cm (13 x 9.5 inches). Page size is 480 x 285mm (19.75 x 11.25 inches).
