Samuel and Nathaniel Buck, Prospect of Worcester, c1732.

Large original copperplate engraving c1732 from A Prospect of Britain.
Many of the major town panoramas of Samuel and Nathaniel Buck had text at their base, providing a description of the city and a key to the prospect or view, and beautifully attired upper-class people – appealing to the wealthy patrons. Much coveted, Bucks’ large panoramas are rarely found in such fine condition as this, with fine later colour.

Framed with hand-decorated conservation mount and gilt-edged distressed timber frame to compliment the period of the work.
External frame measurement is 47 x 96cm.

There will be an additional shipment charge, depending on destination and method of shipment.
