Set in Jerusalem during the first half of the Christian era, this classic book describes the troubles that befall the heir of a rich Jewish family, Judah Ben-Hur, after being accused of attempting to assassinate the new governor of Jerusalem. A tale of one man challenging the might of the Roman Empire. Most people are familiar with the exciting chariot race against his former friend. This is a fine edition of a classic story.
